3D Modeling & 3D Printing

3D Modeling & 3D Printing is a hands-on design and engineering course that teaches students how to turn ideas into real physical objects. Students will learn the basic principles of 3D design, digital modeling, measurement, structure, prototyping, and 3D printing. They will explore how engineers and designers create parts, test ideas, improve designs, and manufacture objects using modern digital tools. This course helps students develop spatial thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and engineering design confidence.

3D Modeling & 3D Printing

Design It. Model It. Print It.

In the real engineering world, ideas do not stay on paper. They become models, prototypes, products, and working systems.

In 3D Modeling & 3D Printing, students learn how to use digital design tools to create 3D models and turn them into real physical objects through 3D printing.

Students will explore the full design process: understanding a problem, sketching an idea, creating a digital model, checking size and structure, preparing the model for printing, and improving the final result.

This course teaches students that design is not only about making something look good. It is about function, structure, accuracy, testing, and improvement.

Through hands-on projects, students develop creativity, spatial reasoning, engineering thinking, and the confidence to bring their own ideas to life.
